Job Description

Hively Landscapes, established in 1968, is a reputable full-service landscaping contractor known for its commitment to fairness, honesty, and excellence. We specialize in design, installation, and maintenance of residential landscapes. We are currently seeking dedicated Landscaping Laborers to join our team in a stable and collaborative work environment. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks, contributing to our projects that reflect our core values of integrity and putting people first. Responsibilities
  • Arrive on time and prepared for work at our Dover, PA location.
  • Plan daily tasks and load necessary tools and equipment.
  • Travel to and from job sites using our modern fleet of vehicles.
  • Perform landscaping services such as mulching, planting, pruning, gardening, weeding, leaf removal, and seasonal cleanups.
  • Provide excellent customer service and contribute positively to the team.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and demonstrate respect at all times.
  • Take care of and perform basic maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to commute to the office location daily.
  • Prior landscaping experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with open communication.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from others.
  • Ability to pass the U.S. Department of Transportation physical and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Physical ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs., bend, twist, kneel, and work with hands and tools.
  • Capability to work in various weather conditions including excessive heat, cold, wet, and dry environments.

Compensation

$18-$22/hour
