Overview
The Research Assistant (RA) will work as part of the Palliative Care and Resilience (PCAR) research team within the Department of Supportive Oncology. PCAR collaborates closely with the Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) to advance research and clinical initiatives that support palliative care and resilience for pediatric patients and their families. Our team is dedicated to developing evidence-based interventions and delivering high-quality research that addresses the unique challenges faced by children with serious illnesses and their families. This role will specifically focus on overseeing and conducting research projects, including regulatory work, participant recruitment, interviews, transcribing, and ensuring the successful execution of research studies while adhering to Good Clinical Practice under the guidance of the Principal Investigator. The role includes working collaboratively with a team of research staff and may occasionally require evening hours to facilitate remote recruitment of participants across different time zones.
This hybrid position requires being on-site for a minimum of two days per week. Flexibility may be required for evening participant recruitment.
