Physical Therapy Assistant Lawrence, KS (35 miles W of Kansas City)
We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our practice full time in Lawrence, KS. We are looking for a dynamic PTA to help us provide the highest quality outpatient therapy and one on one care. Experience in women's health a huge plus!! The ideal Physical Therapy assistant will possess excellent clinical and communication skills, must maintain exceptional rapport with patients, staff and referral sources while being open to growth and expansion.

Duties:
-Review health and medical histories, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
-Consult with referring PT's/ Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
-Assist with implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
-Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
-Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
-Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
-Collaboration with the PTs and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
-Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
-Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
Requirements:
-Completion of an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
-PTA License in KS
Schedule:
-Full time (Mon- Friday )
Compensation (range):
-$27-$32 per hour (DOE)
