LIFEGUARDS WANTED – FINISH THE SUMMER STRONG

We’re hiring Grade IA & Grade II Nassau County Certified Lifeguards for our pool and calm water beach through September 20, 2026.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Ensure the safety of the pool or bathing beach
• Respond to any incident or emergency in the pool or beach areas
• Enforce the rules of the pool and beach
• Keep the pool deck and/or beachfront and surrounding areas clean and organized
• Work with security staff to effectively communicate with members and respond to emergencies
• Attend to supportive duties as set forth by the Aquatics Director
• Check lifeguard equipment regularly and alert the Aquatics Director of any issues relating to safety

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nassau County Grade IA or II Lifeguard Certification
• Current CPR / AED / First Aid certification
• 15 years of age or older
• Physically capable of lifting lifeguard stands, pool lines, and equipment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• A record of integrity, reliability, and punctuality
• A willingness to assist in additional responsibilities as set forth by the Aquatics Director

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
