Job Description

Working on a full-time basis and reporting to the Senior Partner, the chosen candidate will be

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering interior design and design management services, including concept design, feasibility studies, interior decoration, schematics, design development, coordination, procurement, supervision of works, and certification.
  • Support on-site installation and supervision to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, adhering to specifications, drawings, contract documents, professional standards, health and safety regulations, and codes of practice, making corrections as required.
  • Maintain project quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, implementing rectifications to meet quality standards.
  • Attend project and technical meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) within the Interior department and the company.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Advanced diploma or recognized qualification in interior design from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in interior design draughting, preferably across diverse projects such as hospitality, residential, or commercial.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, legislation, and practices in Malta.
  • Passion for design with expertise in integrated interior architecture and proficiency in multiple media (hand sketching to advanced digital tools) for developing and communicating ideas.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office; experience in Revit is an asset.
  • Experience in 3D modeling and presentation software is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure, collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, and deliver projects efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, influencing skills, assertiveness, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with a measured approach to decision-making for efficient outcomes.
  • Motivated team player with a positive and proactive work ethic.
  • Valid driving license for site inspections.
