Dental Lab Technician - Crown & Bridge Models

Drake Dental Lab is a leading provider of high-quality dental prosthetics, specializing in custom dental solutions with precision, innovation, and craftsmanship. Our state-of-the-art lab in SE Charlotte is looking for an experienced C&B Model Technician to join our growing team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create model of patient’s mouth by pouring mix into a dental impression and allowing to set.
• Reading and interpreting doctor’s prescription information
• Mix gypsum base powder with water in precise amounts to make high quality mix with little or no air bubbles.
• Pin, trim, base, and articulate models
• Test models for functionality and accuracy of occlusion using articulators that mimics bite and movement of patients jaw
• Clean work area daily once set of models is complete

Qualifications:

✔ Proven experience in Crown & Bridge Model Production

✔ Strong understanding of dental anatomy and prosthetics. 

✔ Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. 

✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced lab. 

✔ Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. 

✔ Ideal Candidate will also be fully capable of die trimming a large quantity of cases per day (this skill would also provide ability for higher pay rate).
