Title: Controls Engineer 3
Client : Fortune 500, leading global machinery manufacturer
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)
Role: 12 months contract, likely to extend & potential to convert to direct hire.
Pay Rate: $47-50/hour (W2) + benefits / ~$54/hour (C2C)
Job Description:
In this role, you will design, develop, and build Low and Medium Voltage switchgear for generator paralleling applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret customer specifications and drawings while ensuring compliance with NEC, UL 508, UL 891, UL 1558, UL MV, CSA 22-2, and ANSI requirements.
• Create bill of materials in the ERP system.
• Direct purchasing and procurement activities.
• Guide CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings.
• Support production throughout the equipment manufacturing process.
• Write and validate PLC code for generator control systems, integrating various communication protocols.
