Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Carson City office, specializing in Industrial Litigation, representing a diverse clientele, including employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court and before government agencies. • Draft legal documents and correspondence, as well as conduct thorough legal research. • Be able to work collaboratively on a team, but also independently. • Must be able to meet or exceed monthly billing requirements using electronic billing system (Clio). • Strategize and plan meticulously with and for clients, ensuring attention to detail in all cases. • Daily use of our electronic case management system (Filevine) to keep files updated and organized. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, not just representation. • Continuously staying informed about Nevada statutes and regulations by paying attention to trends and developments in our industry. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple cases and with multiple deadlines. Qualifications: • Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Adaptable, flexible, and dependable. • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail. • Daily use of an electronic case management and billing system (Clio). • Have an interest in Litigation and Administrative Law and strive to exemplify the highest level of respect and performance. • Ability to bring A-Game Daily!
